This month’s sound configuration is: PENTA (grounding, earth mystery, high delta binaural beats)

This three-hour shamanic drum circle and sound bath event is designed for those who are ready to dive deep into themselves and into the Great Mystery of Being, and for those who are comfortable with complex and shamanic sound.

Spend the afternoon at Sky Pond Retreat journeying deep into yourself, into sound, into your relationship with Mother Earth, the Elements, and with All That Is. These shamanic drum circle and sound bath events are designed for those who feel called to go deeper, incorporating techniques of sound healing, reiki, yoga nidra, and shamanism, and featuring complex sound patterns and configurations, such as binaural beats, crystal and Himalayan bowls, gongs, chimes, tuning forks, and more, depending on the monthly configuration. Sacred herbs and resins are burned for their powerfully purifying properties, brining us deeper into alignment with the coherent states. In these sessions we partner with the sacred elements and with various aspects of consciousness, inviting ourselves into the power and mystery of Pure Mind, and Pure Being.

These sessions are all about cultivating empowerment, foundation, and connection within yourself and the world around you.

We begin these sessions in an outdoor shamanic-style drum circle, coming together and in ceremony, inviting the healing frequencies of nature to nourish us as we unplug, unwind, and discover a deeper connection to the Earth and our place within the cosmos. Circle sharing is encouraged but not required. We will break shortly for time to assimilate, forest bathe, and deepen into a personal connection with ourselves. We then move indoors for a sound bath journey that is uniquely designed to the monthly theme, with time afterward to gently arrive back into the world around us. Remaining time is spent in community alongside the fire pit, or in solitude, to allow the energies to process and move through.

These sessions incorporate periods of time outside. Please come in weather appropriate attire for outdoors.

**If you own a frame drum, please bring your own. I will have several spares on hand as well. (My drum recommendations include: Remo Buffalo Drum 16”, Remo Black Earth Buffalo Drum 16”, Animal Skin drums from Sunreed Instruments)

Sarah Myles is an ICRT-certified Reiki Master, ICRT-certified Karuna Reiki Master, certified Sound Healer through the Center of Light Institute, as well as a lifelong songwriter and musician. She practices Reiki and Sound healing sessions for individual clients at Alewah Sound in central NC and is a student of advanced sound techniques and shamanic studies.  Her passion is in keeping energy fields flowing so clients may come into full alignment with their Highest Selves and expanded consciousness and live more peaceful, passionate, and fulfilled lives.
